‘Organized’ Hack Targets AT&T Wireless Subscribers
Hackers used automatic scripts to aim ATT wireless subscribers in an failed endeavor to rob data stored in their online accounts, firm officials said.
In an email sent to targeted subscribers, ATT warned of an “organized attempt” to break in to their accounts. The instructive was sent to reduction than 1 per cent of the company’s wireless subscribers, orator Mark Siegel told The Register . The firm sensitive the users “out of an bountiful of caution.”
