Nvidia 4Q EPS 19 Cents; Revs $953.2 Million; Shrs Down 4% On Guidance

Nvidia shares fell 4% in after-hours trade Wednesday after the graphics and mobile-processor dilettante posted fourth-quarter gain down 16.5% from the year-ago quarter.

The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based firm reported net income of $116.0 million, or 19 cents per share, compared to net income of $139.0 million, or 23 cents per share, during the year-ago period.

Sales rose to $953.2 million from $886.38 during the year-ago quarter.

Nvidia mentioned it expects practiced sum margins of 49.5% ‘plus or reduction 1 commission point,’ on sales of between $900 and $930 million is to stream quarter.

Over the past a few years, Nvidia has broadened its concentration from graphics processors (GPUs) for personal computers to processors for chic phones, tablets, and supercomputers.
